Sussex Gold wins blind taste test on Sky TV
During a recent edition of Market Kitchen on the Good Food Channel our Extra Virgin Rapeseed Oil came out top against four other brands in a blind taste test.

During November we started producing our Oak Smoked Rapeseed Oil in 250ml bottles. The oil has a wonderful aroma and flavour. It is great for dressings and roasting winter vegetables. Another idea is to mash potatoes with it.

Our 2009 Sunflower harvest was a great success being completed before the wet November weather. The oil is now available in most of our stores.

Sussex Gold appears on live tv!
We were delighted to have a visit from Meridian News on Wednesday 19th August. Weather presenter Simon Parkin presented the weather for the area and did a live interview with John from the fields of Sunflowers.

Local MP and shadow Defra spokesman Nick Herbert visited us on the 11th August and had a tour of the Farm and Pressing plant. You can see a press release by following the link below.

We still have our range of Dressings and Sauces based on our Extra Virgin Cold Pressed Rapeseed Oil. 
Currently there are four varieties, they are: Honey & Wholegrain Mustard Dressing, Chilli Dipping Sauce, Chilli & Garlic Dressing and a Stir Fry Sauce.
They are all available in 250ml bottles.

Our Stir Fry Sauce won a 'Gold' two star Great Taste Award.  Winning gold is no easy task and we were in good company.  Of the 4873 products entered, only 308 a two-star  award.

Since starting production we have had a high demand for our Rapeseed Oil and our stockists are rapidly increasing in number.

Our Sunflower Oil was launched in April 2008 and this product won a Great Taste Award. We believe this to be the ONLY Sunflower Oil grown in the UK.
